The rules are as follows:
- 1. The Hackathon 2025 competition is divided into two (2) phases, as described below.
- 2. You're eligible for Phase 2 only if you qualified in Phase 1.
- 3. Eligibility is UG, PG in IT/CS.
- 4. Create a team of 2 to 4 members.
- 5. Team Registration fees is Rs. 2000 (fixed, irrespective of team size).
- 6. You will be provided breakfast, lunch, and high tea for Phase 1 & Phase 2.
- 7. The decisions of the Board of Judges shall be final and binding on all, without any discrimination.
- 8. The process of registration is:
- a) Pay using the scanner
- b) Take a screenshot of the payment (the transaction ID and other details must be clear)
- c) Register using the separate QR code and enter the screenshot for the same
- d) Wait for confirmation of your team's entry
Phase 1
You are expected to present your unique idea, vision, or innovation on the topic, using a 20-25 minute presentation using MS (Office) PowerPoint to a panel of judges and audience.
You must follow the shared ppt format (scan the QR code) for the same.
You will be judged on:
- Idea's novelty, creativity, practicality, and utility
- Presentation skills & confidence, clarity of idea, and adherence to pre-shared slide layout
Based on the above parameters, the judges will decide the award of best idea in Phase 1, and also, specific teams' qualification for Phase 2. Certificate of Recognition will be awarded to all the participants.
Phase 2
You're expected to demonstrate your idea by creating a working prototype of your idea, with a suitable explanation on how it works.
You will be judged on:
- Idea or Prototype's readiness, uniqueness, and utility
- Cost-Benefit Ratio of the idea
Based on the above parameters, the judges will decide the winning team of the Hackathon 2025.
