Aryabhatta International College of Technical Education observed Vibhajan Vibhishika Remembrance Day on 14th August 2026, bringing together students, faculty members, and staff to remember and reflect upon one of the most significant and painful chapters in the history of India — the Partition of 1947.
The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Shri Bhagirath Choudhary, Hon’ble Member of Parliament from Ajmer. His presence added significance to the occasion and encouraged the students to understand the historical importance of Vibhajan Vibhishika and the experiences associated with the Partition.
The event was organised with the aim of creating awareness among today's young generation, particularly Gen Z, about the circumstances in which the Partition took place in 1947 and the profound impact it had on millions of people. Various speakers shared their insights and guided the students about the historical circumstances, struggles, displacement, sacrifices, and human experiences associated with this defining period of India's history.
The programme provided students with an opportunity to look beyond the pages of history books and understand the human dimension of Partition. The speakers emphasised that remembering history is not about revisiting the past alone, but about learning from it and understanding the importance of unity, harmony, peace, and national solidarity.
